The Byford Country Club is a great venue for pool, with a dedicated pool room and two quality 7’ competition tables, which cost only $1 per game.
The club has a long tradition of entering teams into the WA 8-Ball Federation summer and winter pool leagues, with some fantastic results over the years, as can be seen by the number of ‘flags’ adorning the pool room walls. Byford currently plays with thirteen other teams in the 2nd Division South league and last season (2013) we won the 20-weel league, the Grand Final and the Champion of Champions final. It was the most successful year ever for the team.
New players are welcome and ideally we would like to enter two teams into the league, so if anyone fancies playing in the pool team, please come along to the club.
Matches are played home and away on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm until about 10.30pm.
We practice at the club every Monday between 5pm and 8pm and usually on Friday evening again between 5pm and 8pm. Games are free for practice and all players wanting to be part of the team are welcome.
